People sit in a dark cave, watching shadows falling on the wall thinking that they see reality. One of these people goes out in the light, the light temporary blinds him and he sees nothing.

But then he looks around, he sees the real world and the source of light: the Sun. When he turns back to the cave and tries to explain the truth to the residents of the cave, they laugh with him and kill him…
